Ouzo
Ouzo is the traditional Greek drink. Though, the ouzo of Lesvos has its own flavor, heritage and secrets only known to those who produce it. These secrets have established this product into the market as one of high quality. It is produced with a mixture of alcohols, flavored with distillation of aniseed and other aromatic herbs, such as mastic. From 37% to 48% ranges the proportion of alcohol in the Lesbian ouzo. On the island, about 20 small and large distilleries produce ouzo that competes in flavor and quality internationally famous alcohol drinks
