Croatia Has The Most Beautiful Beaches In Europe

European Best Destinations, a travel organization that promotes culture and tourism in Europe, has compiled a list of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. It comes as no surpise that Croatia has two gorgeous Adriatic beaches on the list: Zlatni rat on Brac Island and Podrace Beach on Makarska Riviera.

Zlatni rat took the third place right behind Navagio Beach in Greece and Our Lady Beach in France. By far one of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia and the gorgeous sandy gem of Dalmatia, it can be translated into English as Golden Cape or Golden Horn. It is situated in the harbour town of Bol and is one of the most spectacular places on the Adriatic.

12th on the list, Podrace Beach is located in Brela, a small town also know as the pearl of Makarska Rviera according to European Best Destinations. They also mentioned the famous Brela Stone, just of the main Punta Rata Beach in Brela.

The leading country on the list is France with three gorgeous beaches, whilst Croatia, Greece, Portugal and Italy all share two magnificent beaches.
