From 11th to 14th June the lovely Istrian town of Rovinj will travel back in time to move to the rhythm of the 1950s and 1960s. This centuries old town hosts the first vintage festival in Croatia in its old tobacco factory, celebrating vintage culture in all its forms.
Besides a rich music program which will include performances of the leading European swing, rock’n’roll and rhythm’n’blues artists, there will also be an exhibition of classic cars and vespas, as well as of vintage furniture and vinyl. The star of this year’s Dolce Vita is British singer and pianist Mike Sanchez. Other artists, who already traditionally perform at Dolce Vita, are Swingers, but this time they will have a special reinforcement – Marko Tolja, a true lover of retro sound and style
A special treat is the gorgeous pinup girl Ana Perduv who will enchant you with her burlesque performances. Visitors will aslo be able to participate in swing, jive and lindy pop dance workshops. For ladies who wish to transform into a pinup girl, there is a workshop they can take part in where talented stylists will teach them all the secrets of pinup hair and make-up.
