The Ecclesiastical-Byzantine Museum
Facing the church of Saint Therapon in the ground floor of the Philanthropic Foundation of Mytilene, this museum contains many sacred and valuable icons and other holy relics. The museum also has on display vestments embroidered with pearls, sections of fine iconostases from old churches, manuscripts and old religious books. Under the Ecclesiastical-Byzantine Museum lie superb Roman mosaics. It’s on Agios Therapontos street right behind the cathedral in the market.
